CHICAGO (AP) — Airlines that fly in and out of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport have canceled 460 flights because of the snowstorm hitting the region.

That's according to FlightAware.com. The aviation tracking website does not report any cancelations at Chicago's Midway International Airport for Wednesday.

The city's department of aviation says some airlines are reporting delays averaging 25 minutes for flights in and out of O'Hare and similar delays for about a dozen flights at Midway.

The department recommends travelers or those planning to pick up arriving passengers check the airlines' websites for the status of fights.
