CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Habitat for Humanity is once again asking the community to help support their organization while enjoying Sunday's big game.

Habitat's Home Team Huddle typically raises around $10,000 annually for the organization. All the money raised goes to support Habitat projects, including construction of eight new homes and renovation of 15 to 20 homes in the Wellington Heights neighborhood.

There are two ways to participate. The first is by attending one of three public parties being held on Sunday:
1: Home Team Huddle Pre-Game Party at Planet X from 3 to 6 p.m. on February 2. Some of the Titan's players and Dolls will be at the event. Entry is $10 with $5 going to Habitat.

2: Home Team Huddle Party to watch the Super Bowl with the CR Titans at the Clarion Hotel beginning at beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, this event is free.

Event 3: Home Team Huddle Party at Collins Road Theaters beginning at 4:00 on Feb. 2. It's free to watch the game; popcorn and snacks will be available for purchase.

Donations will be accepted at each event, with proceeds benefitting the Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity.

If you already plan to host your own party on Sunday, simply register your party online at www.habitatfootball.com and pass a hat around during halftime, asking people to give whatever they can. Those who host and attend Home Team Huddle Parties can register to win a NFL weekend getaway for two, including airfare, hotel, and game tickets by the NFL Players Association.
