CLAYTON COUNTY, Iowa - One man is injured after a helicopter crashed in Clayton County on Wednesday afternoon.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Department said that the crash happened shortly after 5:15 p.m. in a field near the intersection of 215th Street and Grouse Avenue.

Officials say Darren Rothell, 35, was piloting the crop-dusting helicopter when it struck a power line.

Rothell was taken to Central Hospital in Elkader with minor injuries.
