IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Hawkeye ticket office has nearly 10,000 tickets to the upcoming Outback Bowl.

University of Iowa ticket manager Pam Finke said the sales have been steady and are currently at 9,100 and rising. “It’s been good,” Finke said. “I think things are going well.”

The Hawkeye’s are trying to sell their total allotment of tickets, which is 11,500. Finke said she’s looking for a good final push this weekend to get to that number.

The game will take place on New Years Day in Tampa, Florida. The Hawkeyes will play Louisiana State in a game that kicks off at noon.
