Google Plans Iowa Announcement Friday

DES MOINES, Iowa —State officials and Google are planning a news conference Friday.

The news conference is expected to announce new details of Google's continued investment in Iowa and Google's Council Bluffs data center.

The event is planned Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the State Capitol's Robert D. Ray Conference Room.

Gov. Terry Branstad, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds, Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal, Council Bluffs Mayor Tom Hanafan, Google Data Center Manager Chris Russell, Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County leaders and state of Iowa Economic Development Leaders.
