Funeral Services Set for Woman Killed in Wapsipinicon State Park Accident

    JONES COUNTY, Iowa - Family, friends, and students who knew Nicole Cox will say goodbye to the elementary school counselor Tuesday.

    The 30-year-old wife and mother crashed her car into the Wapsipinicon River and died Friday night. Investigators have ruled her death an accident. Cox worked as an elementary guidance counselor for the Anamosa Community School District. She and her husband, Ryan, had a two year old son, Kiptyn.

    Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Centerville High School.
