Funeral Services Set for Murdered Tama Woman
TAMA, Iowa - Funeral services are set for a Tama woman killed earlier this week.
Police found the body of Kerry O'Clair-Jefferson in a south side Tama home Wednesday afternoon. An autopsy determined she died from what's described as "sharp force injuries to the neck."
Prosecutors charged her mother-in-law, 57-year-old Ginger Jefferson with first degree murder. She's behind bars at the Tama County jail on a one million dollar cash-only bond.
Visitation for Kerry O'Clair-Jefferson is scheduled for Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Tama. Funeral services are scheduled at the church for 10:30 Wednesday morning. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.
