Frank's Kraut to Feature Cedar Rapids 5-Year-Old
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A Cedar Rapids 5-year-old is getting national attention for his love for saurkraut.
Cooper Norton will have his face plastered on the label for Frank's Kraut this summer. Norton's mother, Josie Norton, took a picture of him after he picked up a promotional package of Frank's Kraut at the annual Lisbon SaurKraut Days last summer. The Nortons said they eat saurkraut in a variety of ways. Cooper Norton especially likes saurkraut on hot dogs. A spokesman for Frank's Kraut said they love seeing their products being eaten by the next generation. The company sponsors three festivals in Iowa, one in Ackley, Lisbon and Blairstown. The Frank's Kraut labels featuring Norton are currently being processed and will be distributed later this year. |
