Fourth and Final Suspect Arrested in Des Moines Home Invasion
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Des Moines police say a fourth suspect has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in a southern Iowa home invasion that terrorized a mother and her three children.
The Des Moines Register reports that 59-year-old Bobby Eugene McGee was arrested early Saturday morning in Des Moines on suspicion of robbery, burglary and four counts of false imprisonment.
Police say McGee was one of four masked men who, on Aug. 10, broke into a house in Leon occupied by a 26-year-old woman and her children, ages 10, 4 and 3.
Police arrested 24-year-old William Edward Crawford-Beveridge, of Urbandale, when they arrived at the house, but the other three fled.
Police arrested 24-year-old Erik Cipriani, of Marshalltown, and 22-year-old Daniel Fletcher, of Urbandale, on Thursday.
