LAMONT, Iowa - The Buchanan County Sheriff's office arrested four people, and issued warrants for three other people in connection with a meth lab incident stemming back to August on Tuesday.
A press release from the office said deputies arrested Booker Melver, 34 and Jessica Pirtle, 18 for manufacturing methamphetamine. John Burgess, 43, and Addie Craver, 35, were also arrested and charged with second or subsequent offense manufacturing methamphetamine.
The arrests come after the sheriff's office found items used to manufacture meth in a camper in Lamont on Aug. 20. The arrests were made Tuesday after some of the manufacturing materials were entered as evidence and analyzed, the release said.
Deputies have also issued warrants for Anthony Pirtle, 41, Zachary Pirtle, 21, and Matthew Davis, 35.
The Iowa State Patrol also assisted in the incident and arrests.
