Five Arrested In Waterloo Burglary Investigation
WATERLOO, Iowa -- Five Waterloo residents have been charged in connection with a burglary at a Waterloo home this week.
Several guns, items of jewelry, shoes and video games were taken during the robbery Monday at 4558 William Drive in Waterloo, according to a news release from Waterloo police.
Four juveniles have been arrested and face charges of first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and trafficking in stolen weapons. They include John M. Fitzpatrick, 14; Alex M. Bullerman, 15; Nervedin Mrzljak, 17; and Myles D. Anderson, 15.
Darrius D. Redd, 26, was also arrested in the case, and faces nine counts of trafficking in stolen weapons and nine counts of possession of a firearm as a felon.
The juveniles traded the guns to Redd for money and drugs, police said.
