Firefighters Battle Early Morning Garage Fire

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – No one was hurt after a detached garage caught on fire Sunday morning. Cedar Rapids firefighters were called to the 100 block of 38th Street NE at 2:18 a.m. The fire consumed the garage and burned a nearby vehicle. The home was also damaged. The fire is currently under investigation.
