LA MOTTE, Iowa - Firefighters in Jackson County got a call for a building fully engulfed around 8:30 Thursday morning.

A total of 52 firefighters from six departments spent two hours putting out flames at Bullock Ag Service, at 522 Elm Street. Bullock is a trucking and feed feed company.

Investigators said the fire started in a part of the building where workers repair equipment. Firefighters said flames and smoke did "extensive damage" but didn't immediately have an estimate.

    No injuries were reported.
