GALENA, Illinois - Fire caused significant damage to a Galena home on Friday. The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports that firefighters responded to a home at 801 Clinton Street late Friday afternoon.

The Telegraph Herald reports that the home was severely damaged and two vehicles in the garage were also damaged.

Firefighters say they believe the fire started in a deep fryer that was being used in the garage.

No one was injured in the fire.
