DUBUQUE, Iowa - A father and son will stand trial in Dubuque for a bar robbery and the shooting of a Dubuque police officer.

A judge used a mock jury pool to rule that Eddie Chest and Eddie Adams can get fair trials in Dubuque.

Their separate trials are scheduled for October.

Prosecutors say they held up Knickers Saloon in Dubuque at gunpoint last December. And they say Chest wounded Police Lieutenant Scott Baxter who responded to the robbery.

Both face charges of attempted murder and first degree robbery.
