Dubuque Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Charge
DUBUQUE, Iowa - A Dubuque man, who shot someone during a bar fight last year pleaded guilty to a federal charge in Cedar Rapids Tuesday.
27-year-old Tyrone Clifton pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm.
In a plea deal, Clifton admitted to shooting someone inside a Dubuque bar in November 2013. Clifton then ran from police, but was arrested and found with a pistol later that day. Clifton faces a maximum sentence of 10-years in prison. His sentencing hasn't been set.
