DUBUQUE, Iowa - Walking her pups along Wartburg Place, Nicky Scott knows she has to make the best of this weather.

Scott said, "I prefer the snow actually to the really cold. When it's cold it's hard to be outside for any length of time. "

Like many of us, she's tired of winter weather and the frustrations that come along with it.

"It seems almost once per week there's a delayed start and you know you just want to get your kids in school, " said Scott.

Some people say it's hard to keep up with the recent cycle of snow, then warmer temps, then snow again.

Gwen Sayler said, "I don't have any idea what's underneath the snow. "

Drivers say the roads seemed well plowed during this storm. After all this season's snow, drivers have become used to getting around during a storm. Perhaps some silver lining at the end of a long winter.

Scott said, "It's kind of late but you know you never can tell. Right? What are you going to do? . "

Still even as the snow continues to pile up, people in Dubuque know the end has to be near. Doesn't it?
