DUBUQUE, Iowa- The Dubuque Chamber of Commerce is moving forward with its push to end Saturday parking fees. Earlier this month, the chamber started collecting signatures from downtown shoppers who don't like plugging the meter on Saturdays. After one week, the chamber has almost 1,500 signatures. The chamber now plans to write a letter to the Dubuque City Council. The city collects about $55,000 a year from Saturday parking meters.
