CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A pup found at the airport now has a permanent home. Cedar Rapids Police found her last week running around the Eastern Iowa Airport.

She's been at the shelter since then, and workers put out a call on Facebook to let people know she was available for adoption. Within the day a family showed up and now, she has a new home.

The dog has made such an impression on animal control volunteers that they've even named her "CID". CID is the code for the airport.
Officers say she's a very nice dog, although at 42 pounds she's a bit underweight, but now she has a family to fatten her up.
