Des Moines Police Identify Man Killed in Van Rollover
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Des Moines police have identified a man killed in the rollover crash of a minivan on Highway 28 in Des Moines.
Police say 48-year-old Peter Okali, of Carlisle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the early Saturday morning crash. Police say officers arriving on the scene found the minivan on the west side of the road on its top, and Okali's body was found inside the van. Police say speed is not believed to have been a factor in the crash. Investigators say Okali was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
