Des Moines Man Runs Down Car, Catches Thief
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A Des Moines tire store worker is back on the job, a little sore, after chasing down his car and capturing a car thief.
According to The Des Moines Register, 36-year-old Timothy Ray was working at Graham Tire on Saturday afternoon when he noticed someone had gotten into his car and was starting it with keys that had been under a seat. Ray ran over to stop the thief but was hit on a knee by the car as the man tried to drive away. The car then hit a fence, a pole, the tire store building, another pole and a parked car. Despite his injuries, Ray got up and ran after the car. When he caught up with it, Ray grabbed the thief and held him for police. More Good Stuff |
