Des Moines Man Charged With Bank Robbery
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A 33-year-old Des Moines man has been arrested, accused of robbing a bank.
Police say Deondree Amerison is in Polk County Jail and is charged with the July 17 robbery at a U.S. Bank branch on the west side of Des Moines.
Authorities say the robber handed a note to a teller, demanding money. He didn't display any weapon or say he had one.
The robber said "Thank you" when the teller gave him some money.
