Des Moines Food, Music Festival Winding Down
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — An annual world food and music festival in downtown Des Moines that drew thousands of people last year is winding down.
Sunday is the last day for people to visit the World Food & Music Festival in the city's East Village neighborhood. It began Friday.
Dozens of food vendors have been set up for the festival, which is advertised as offering cuisine from around the world. Tastings and entrees range from $1 to $5. Admission is free.
Cooking demonstrations and craft beer will also be available at the event, which had more than 75,000 visitors last year.
