CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police in Cedar Rapids have arrested a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash on Sunday. Jeremy Rud is charged with multiple traffic violations as well as vehicular homicide, driving while revoked and leaving the scene.

Monday officers released the name of the victim as 30-year-old Jenniffer Hopkins. Four others were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 11th Street southwest. A suburban and a car collided, sending them both into a nearby lawn.

Police set up a perimeter one block in all directions to detour traffic. Officers say they are looking for the driver of one of the vehicles who ran away from the scene.
