NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa -- A crash is causing a major traffic backup in the northbound lanes of Interstate 380. Emergency crews have been on the scene of the crash, near Coralville Lake, since before 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
An SUV appears to have gone down the embankment. A tow truck was on scene pulling the SUV and at least one dirt bike from the drop off shortly before noon.
It's not clear if anyone was injured in the crash, although no fire trucks or ambulances were on scene.
Traffic was backed up to the North Liberty exit. Troopers, Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies and North Liberty police officers responded to the scene.
