Collision At Williams Boulevard, Highway 30 Sends One To Hospital

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids Tuesday morning.
According to Cedar Rapids police Lt. Tobey Harrison, around 8 a.m. a sedan was traveling eastbound on Willliams Boulevard near the Highway 151/30 interchange. At that same time, a SUV was traveling westbound on Williams. Harrison said the SUV turned left toward the Highway 30 on-ramp and the two vehicles collided.
The SUV ended up on its side in the on ramp and the sedan sustained front end damage.
Harrison said one person in the sedan was transported to an area hospital.
