Charles City Man Pleads Guilty to Firearms Charges
CHARLES CITY, Iowa - A Charles City man remains in jail after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of 22 firearms and two sawed-off shotguns.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Randy Patrie,40, also admitted in a plea agreement that on May 2nd, he broke into a firearms dealer's operation near Floyd and stole about 20 firearms. Police found the stolen merchandise and other guns during a July 4th search of Patrie's home.
Patrie has previous convictions for burglary, firearms and drug offenses.
