Cedar Rapids Police Hoping to Identify Man Seen in Surveillance Video

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Authorities in Cedar Rapids are asking for help from the public to identify a theft suspect seen on surveillance video.

The Police Department released a video clip Wednesday showing the suspect enter Ajram Upholstery, 722 Sixth St. SW, around 1 p.m. on Sept. 4. The man reportedly used a phone at the business and after he left, employees noticed that a wallet had been taken.

The suspect is a black male in his 20s, around 5-foot-7 and 190 pounds. He was wearing a light-colored shirt on the day of the incident.
