CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Voters in Cedar Rapids re-elected Mayor Ron Corbett to another four year term Tuesday. Corbett received 67 percent of the vote to defeat candidate Greg Hughes.

Wednesday morning Mayor Corbett came on the KCRG-TV9 Morning News to detail his plans moving forward.

Mayor Corbett said there were several issues already in the next few months. Later this month the city will be applying to the state flood mitigation board for funding to help construction with the west and east side flood control projects along the Cedar River. Then early next year, city officials will go before the gambling board for the new Racing and Gaming license.

Mayor Corbett also listed street repairs and economic development among his goals for the next four years.
