CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- A forecast of cold temperatures is prompting the city to end its leaf vacuum program at the end of the workday on Thursday.

City crews will work to make a final leaf pickup across the city by then. The program will resume in April.

Residents can place leaves in their city-issued Yardy carts all year long.
