CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - An apartment complex in Cedar Rapids received some damage in an overnight fire. Fire crews were called to 144 33rd Street Drive in Southeast Cedar Rapids shortly after midnight.

Everyone inside the building was able to escape the complex without any injury.

Cedar Rapids Police say the fire may have been started by a faulty air conditioner in a 3rd floor apartment, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
