IOWA CITY, Iowa - A Carter Lake woman was arrested in connection with a 2011 fire that injured a firefighter.

Nicole Kramer, 25, was arrested without incident on Wednesday in Carter Lake, according to an Iowa City Police press release.

Iowa City Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of an apartment building blaze on Saturday, January 29, 2011, around 10:53 p.m. at 421 S. Dodge St. The fire displaced several residents and a firefighter received burns to his hands while suppressing the flames, according to The Gazette's archives.

An investigation determined the fire was intentionally set using gasoline, the release said.

Kramer is charged with First Degree Arson, which is a class B felony. She is currently being held at the Johnson County Jail, the release said.
