CENTRAL CITY, Iowa - Two people were hurt in a rollover accident Monday evening near Central City, authorities said.

Boyd Sickles, 43, of Urbana, was driving east on Central City Road near Highway 13 around 6 p.m. when he lost control, causing the pickup to veer into the south ditch and roll, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

Sickles and a passenger in the pickup, 16-year-old Morgan Sickles, of Urbana, were taken by ambulance to St. Luke’s Hospital. They were both wearing seat belts and their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, authorities said.

A hospital spokeswoman said neither name was listed as a patient Tuesday morning.

An investigation was continuing to determine the cause of the accident.
