Books A Million to Replace Dubuque Borders Store

DUBUQUE, Iowa - When the Borders Books closes it Dubuque location later this year, a new book store will take its place.

Joe Bell, Spokesperson for the Cafaro Company which owns the Dubuque Kennedy Mall, says Books A Million will open a store in the Kennedy Mall.

Books A Million will move in as soon as Borders officially closes its doors in Dubuque later this year.

Borders Liquidation sale will continue. That store is expected to close by the end of September.

Bell says Books A Million is set to open prior to the holiday shopping season.
