CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Gusty winds will be the weather focus today. Winds between 15 and 30 mph will drive the wind chills down to dangerous levels.

Air temperatures this afternoon will not rise above zero, with wind chills dropping to -30 in some areas. In these conditions, frostbite can occur in just a few minutes on exposed skin. Wind chill advisories and warnings are in place due to the dangerous cold.

After another night below zero tonight, we finally rebound into the 20s by Friday afternoon.
