Back-To-School-Bonanza Helps Van Buren and Harrison Families

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Some Van Buren and Harrison Elementary students spent the evening getting ready for back to school. More than 70 students, who need a little help, received haircuts, vision screenings, and school supplies at the Kids on Course Back-to-School Bonanza.

"Anything that can help their students achieve academically, feel comfortable at school, or feel welcome at the school we try to provide," said Jaimen Pangborn, who's with Kids On Course.

Kids On Course is a nonprofit that works empower students academic and individual potential. It is funded by the Zach Johnson Foundation.
