CHICAGO, Illinois —The oldest car show in the country celebrates 105 years this week

KCCI's resident car nut, Todd Magel, traveled to Chicago to take in the four-wheeled sights and sounds from the Windy City

The Chicago Auto Show is all about the numbers, with one million visitors and 2,000 reporters all under one roof.

Midwesterners love their pickups, which is why Toyota is unveiling the 2014 Full size Tundra pickup at the Chicago Auto Show.

"The next exterior design features a muscular front view that signifies its pulling power," said Bill Fay, vice president of Toyota Motor Sales USA.

But the beefy Tundra has plenty of competition. Down the aisle, Ford is showing off a concept vehicle called the Atlas.

"We think the design says unstoppable," said Doug Scott with Ford Truck Marketing.

Ford says fans love the futuristic design of what maybe the next Ford F-150 due out in a few years. The design has to be right, because it's the most important vehicle Ford makes.

"It has been the best-selling vehicle car, truck or SUV, for 31 years, so it's a big deal," said Scott.

The car world is also getting the first look at a new Concept cross over SUV from Kia called the Cross GT.
