IOWA CITY, Iowa - Some very special pieces of art will be on display Saturday in Iowa City.

On Friday, volunteers with the Awesome Autism Awareness Art Project set up a gallery at the Arc of Southeast Iowa. The show features art by roughly 50 artists who all have autism. This is the third year for the show.
Most of the artists are from the Iowa City area, but this year a few have joined from other areas of Eastern Iowa, and even one group from overseas.

"We extend offers to anyone in the state, now we have a web page, so if they're willing to bring it, we're willing to show it," volunteer Lisa Burns said.

The show is free and open to the public Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Again, it's at the Arc of South East Iowa in Iowa City.
