April 17 Set As Decision Day For Cedar Rapids Casino Proposal

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission has set April 17, 2014 as their decision date for a proposed Cedar Rapids casino.

Commission members, meeting at the Mystique Casino in Dubuque Thursday, also said they will make a visit to the site of the proposed Cedar Rapids casino on April 3.

The group organizing the effort to bring a casino to Cedar Rapids will make a formal presentation to the commission Jan. 9.
