DUBUQUE, Iowa - An anonymous alumni couple made a $10 million gift to the University of Dubuque.

Half of the money will go to music and business scholarships. The second half will be used for performing arts scholarships and program support and maintenance at the new Heritage Center.

The University will unveil that $40 million performing arts center on Saturday. Directors hope it will compete with similar venues in the state even though it's smaller.
