RIVERSIDE, Iowa -- Orange is not usually the color for fighting cancer, but it was in Riverside this weekend.

More than 100 hunters took part in the celebrity hunt for Aiming for a Cure. The event pairs hunters with a celebrity to go after pheasants near Riverside.

Ben Riess got the ball rolling for the event 11 years ago. Ben lost his battle with cancer in 2009 but friends and family have kept it going ever since.

"I personally knew Ben Reiss so I helped wire their house, got to meet Ben and it meant a lot to me to help the cause of what they're trying to do," said Stan Pfoff of Cedar Rapids, who has taken part in the hunt every year.

Organizers hoped to raise $200,000 for cancer research during the 3-day event this year.
