Agribusiness Report: March 25

DES MOINES, Iowa - On the March 25 Agribusiness Report: Iowa exports about 60% of the U.S. soybean crop, so economic stability is important to local farmers. But, China is rumored to begin to slow down it's imports, which could hurt the state's economy.

Lawyers for groups in the lawsuit against the current country-of-origin labeling rules say to expect a decision soon. The rules could mean meat packaging plants no longer would have to list what country its meat came from.
