Agribusiness Report: January 8th

DES MOINES, Iowa - In the January 8th edition of the Agribusiness Report: Pig farmers contracted through Smithfield Foods are making the switch to group housing for sows. While critics will be happy about the switch, pork producers say they aren't so sure.

An Iowa Soybean Association representative explains why there's no need to panic over China cancelling some its Iowa bean shipments over the coming months.

And, a virus that's blamed for the death of thousands of pigs is spreading in the Midwest.
