An Iowa solider might have to delay his deployment after a weekend water skiing collision.

An Iowa DNR boat collided with 25-year-old Tyler Bryant Sunday afternoon. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says it happened while Bryant was water skiing at the Coralville Reservoir.

The Tiffin soldier suffered leg injuries in the collision.

Bryant told TV9 that he was supposed to go on active duty in two weeks, but his injuries might delay that.

The Sheriff's office continues to investigate the situation.
