Man Holds Up Waterloo Bingo Hall

WATERLOO - A man held up a bingo hall on Monday night.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. at the National Cattle Congress Pepsi Pavilion at 257 Ansborough Avenue.

Authorities say the suspect walked into the office, pointed a handgun at the manager and demanded money.

The manager was not injured, but the suspect got away with some cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 25-years-old, medium build, 5'7" to 5'9" tall, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a white shirt and a yellow and black hat.
