Trial Delayed for Des Moines Man Accused of Killing Wife

DES MOINES (AP) - Trial has been delayed for a man accused of killing his wife and wounding a police officer during a standoff in Des Moines.

Randall Moore is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree sexual assault and attempted murder. He's pleaded not guilty, and his trial has been moved from June 21 to Oct. 4.

Moore is accused of forcing TereseAnn Lynch Moore into her car at a mall parking lot last November. He allegedly drove her to an apartment, where he killed her and wounded a police officer.

Moore remains in the Polk County jail on $1.5 million bond.
