CEDAR RAPIDS - Three people were arrested Tuesday morning after a meth bust at a Cedar Rapids residence, police said.
Officers found equipment used to make methamphetamine, including aluminum, glassware and pop bottles, in one of the bedrooms at a residence in the 300 block of 30th St. Dr. SE. It happened just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Glen Allen, 32, who lives at the residence, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine when the equipment was found in his bedroom, police said.
A minor was charged with possession of precursors used to make meth. Police Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said the minor had powder from pseudoephedrine pills, one of the ingredients used to make the drug.
A third person, Trenton McCleary, 23, was charged with disorderly house. Hamblin said he was staying at the house and was aware of the drug activity.
Allen and and McCleary were taken to the Linn County Jail. The minor was taken to the Linn County Detention Center. Allen remained in the Linn County Jail on Wednesday afternoon in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
