Fort Dodge Teen Sentenced to 90 Days for Stabbing

FORT DODGE (AP) — A Fort Dodge teenager has been sentenced to 90 days in jail as part of a plea arrangement after he was accused of stabbing a man.

Seventeen-year-old Bryce Gully was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty to charges of assault and willful injury. Gully was accused in the stabbing of a man during a struggle in July.

Defense attorney James Koll has previously said Gully was attempting to defend himself from an attack when a third person hit the victim, causing a wound that was mistaken for a knife cut.

Gully was acquitted of first-degree murder last year in the 2008 shooting death of Matthew Huffman.
