LE CLAIRE (AP) - The Iowa State Patrol has released the names of two Illinois residents who were killed last week while walking away from a stranded car on Interstate 80 in eastern Iowa.
The patrol says Cyrus Wilson, 19, and Maita Gayflorsee, 20, both of Moline, Ill., were killed after they were hit late last Thursday near Le Claire.
Troopers say Wilson and Gayflorsee were walking away from a car that was stuck in the median of the highway when they were struck.
The driver of the other car was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
