Iowa City Man Tased After Attack on Police Officers

IOWA CITY - An Iowa City man is behind bars after he tried to attack police officers.

Police say when they arrived at the home of Allen Reed III for a domestic charge, he took an aggressive stance and rushed towards officers.

Two officers fired tasers, but they didn't work, this is when one of the officers got pinned against a door.

Eventually one of the officers used a stun from the taser and Reed fell to the floor.

He was charged with domestic abuse assault, assault on peace officers, and interference with official acts.
